Data protection information for our candidates

Dear candidate,

We greatly appreciate your trust in us, which is why the protection of your data, your personal rights and the observance of your right to informational self-determination in the collection, processing and use of your personal data are important to us. The following information is intended to provide you with a quick and simple overview of the data we collect from you and our processes linked with your application.

Data protection responsibility and contacts

Etter Personalkompetenz GmbH, Schillerstrasse 14, 66482 Zweibrücken stores and processes your data on behalf and in the name of Etter & Partner S.A.S. and is therefore responsible for all data protection aspects. Etter Personalkompetenz GmbH is the German office of Etter & Partner S.A.S. in France. Both companies operate jointly under the Etter & Partner brand. Processing of your applicant data

Etter & Partner processes your applicant data (e.g. your full name, email address, telephone number, photo, cover letter, CV, LinkedIn profile or Xing profile and indication of the position you have applied for, your status, notes and planning information relating to your application, as well as email correspondence) solely for the purpose of assessing your skill-set match, contacting you and ensuring the smooth processing of your application (Art. 6 para. 1 letter b DS-GVO, Section 26 BDSG). Your application documents will only be passed on to the employees of Etter Personalkompetenz GmbH, Etter & Partner S.A.S. and the departments of our clients who need them to evaluate your application and to the potential completion of your recruitmen (personnel consultant, HR department, relevant specialist departments responsible for job advertisements, management board of our clients). We use the personnel management software recruitee (https://recruitee.com/privacy) of Recruitee B.V. (63881829), Keizersgracht 313, 1016 EE Amsterdam, (The Netherlands) for the application process. Questions regarding data processing at Recruitee can be sent to hello@recruitee.com at any time. We are working under a so-called order processing agreement with Recruitee in accordance with Art. 28 DS-GVO to ensure that your data is only processed on our instructions and protected in line with the highest security standards.

In general, we do not process your applicant data outside the European Union or states outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Transfer of your data for positions with international companies

However, if your application is for positions of companies working internationally, it may be necessary to pass your data on to responsible contacts of our clients outside the European Union or states outside the EEA. If you do not agree to this type of data transfer, you can object to it at any time. However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that an objection to the corresponding data transfer to our client may lead to the application process be stopped for you.

Duration of data storage

Etter & Partner will only store your data as long as it is necessary to complete the application process or, in the case of you getting hired, to support the onboarding process of our client. In the event that you are not getting hired by our client for the time being, we will delete your application documents no later than 6 months after our client's decision, unless you have expressively given us permission to include you in our pool of candidates in order to be able to write to you for another job opportunity if applicable.

Provision of your data

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, in our application process. You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide the data. However, we ask for your understanding that without complete information, your application may not be considered.

Application via LinkedIN or Indeed

In order to use the functions "Apply with LinkedIN" or "Apply via Indeed", your personal data must be processed at LinkedIN or Indeed. Their privacy policies can be found on the following websites:

Your rights

You have the right to request confirmation at any time as to whether we are processing personal data relating to you and the right to obtain information about your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdrawal, deletion and restriction of your data processing, as well as the right to object or revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time, or to request the transfer of data. For this purpose, you will find a corresponding link in every e-mail, or simply write to us informally at recruiting@etterundpartner.com.

In addition, you have the right to complain to our data protection officer or by e-mail via recruiting@etterundpartner.com in the event of data protection violations. Likewise, the path to one of the official supervisory authorities for data protection (supervisory authorities and state data protection commissioners) is of course open to you at any time.
